Loved it. Beautiful flying, bulldog machines, and uncompromised visuals… All hauntingly superimposed just a few hundred feet above the grown-over wreckage of many prior trajedies.

Kinda our version of “Deadliest Catch”. I am trying to read a bunch of books
I found on Bush Flying, and some of the stories are wild. Mort Mason has some good adventures written up in a book. He also called into CNN and spoke to Rick Sanchez when Stevens plane went down. Sanchez tried his usual thinking he had all the answers and Mason kinda corrected him quickly. I was busy doing something an Sanchez goes we have Mort Mason a retired Bush Pilot on the phone. There is also a show called Our Five Sons on an off the wall cable channel and they had a segment on where their son Clay was introduced to all these old retired pilots and they where all sharing their stories.

  5. So looked forward to this show, but sadly it turned out to be another overproduced and overdramatized reality show. I enjoyed Alaska Wing Men much more (Nat. Geo. Channel).
