In my efforts to finalize the paint for Prometheus, I’ve added the final sponsor logos to the wing supports.
You may wonder why Skip has MX Aircraft as a sponsor. They not only produce the MX2 and MXS aircraft, but they also produce carbon fiber enhancements for other aircraft, such as the S2S Pitts. Skip has a few carbon fiber components, most recently being the shovels on the ailerons (an update I had to make on this model versus the Real Flight version).
I’ve been working with Tim Taylor (the guy building the new IRIS Simulations F-15E Strike Eagle) on improving the overall look of the plexi-glass for the cockpit. It is still a work-in-progress, but I like the overall effect of swirl marks. Thanks Tim!!
As time allows, I’m continuing work on the FSX Prometheus. Here are a few shots to show VC work thus far…
I ran across this interesting video of concept aircraft for FSX. Anyone know where this guy has his stuff for download?
A fellow blogger has taken the time to give a great MS FS 98 through MS Flight comparison.
